Tips and Street Performers

If you watch a street performer’s entire show, it is customary to leave a tip.

Events and Festivals

Venice Beach holds events and festivals throughout the year. Check the website for upcoming events: http://www.venicebeach.com/events.php

Are there any activities for kids and families?

Street performers include instrumental musicians, singers, jugglers, acrobats, mimes, comics, magicians, prophets, fortune tellers, and other assorted entertainers. You will see people with tricolor hairdos, painted faces, weird tattoos, and outlandish clothing-or lack of it.
Children love the street performers. You will find musicians, jugglers, acrobats, mimes, poets, fortune tellers and other entertainers. Walk the boardwalk with you children-there's plenty to see. If you want to stay active while on your trip, grab a Frisbee or soccer ball and hit the beach. Of course, the basketball courts are always open. Just be sure to arrive early, unless you want to just sit and watch.

What kind of parking is available?

Parking is available at the end of Venice Boulevard, to the right of the beach. It costs between $3 to $10, depending upon the time of year. There is also parking available between North and South Venice Boulevard West of Lincoln Boulevard.
Refer to the Venice Beach parking guide for more information.
